Visit an Elephant Sanctuary

There are a lot of elephant trekking businesses in Thailand but with backpackers becoming more aware and wanting to make sure animals are being treated with respect, there are plenty of sanctuaries popping up. Before you go, the best advice is do your research on your chosen sanctuary first.
The Green Elephant Sanctuary provides an experience where you can get to know the stories of each elephant and how they were rescued whilst you interact with the gentle giants by feeding them, playing in a mud bath with them and showering with the elephants. Lunch is also provided and you can ask as much as you want about the elephants or the sanctuary itself. The team also have photographers who go around taking pictures of everyone so you don't need to worry about getting the best pics to remember such an amazing experience.

Brave Bangla Walking Street

The main street of Phuket
When it comes to Bangla Road, there's no way of being able to describe how crazy it actually is. All you need to know is you need to go there with a sense of humour and an open mind. Whether you to to partake in the nocturnal entertainment or just to say you have been there, you will never forget the experience. There are clubs, bars and secret markets where you can haggle and get yourself a bargain.

Party the night away in Illuzions

Illuzion night club
If you're looking for a night out, Illuzions is a large club in the heart of Bangla road. You can see people from all over the world coming together for a rave and a good time. It's quite a large club with laser beam lights and performances. Everything about it is over the top but get on the huge dance floor and you'll have a great night.

There's a lot more you can do if partying is not for you, like exploring the Old Town, the viewpoints or going on a temple tour. Wat Chalong is one of the main temples people go to see. You can immerse yourself in culture by seeing a cultural show at Phuket FantaSea Theme Park or to see the Big Buddha.
