I left my job today with a one way ticket to South East Asia.

So, after doing my final day at work today, I am now sat in bed staring at my travellers rucksack wondering if I have packed everything that I will need whilst enjoying the last of home comforts. Clean duvet, candle on and fairy lights twinkling over me as I nervously type my first blog post.

This week has been a mix of feelings as I've had to say goodbye to friends around me who I've known for years, to those I have grown close to when I initially started my sales job this time last year. It was a sad but exciting goodbye as my manager got a farewell cheer going for me as I was leaving the office for one final time today. And tomorrow I will be saying goodbye to my family before boarding a plane to my first stop - Bangkok.

I can't help but feel a little anxious about how I'm going to cope by myself after the travels that I have planned so far. My plan is to go out with my friends and wing it after they leave to go on my own little solo adventure (and I suppose this blog can be my companion to keep me entertained on the long bus journeys to come).

So welcome to my little diary of a blog where I'll post the funny, clumsy, and amazing memoirs of my travels.

(Also, hope you love the name of the blog as I am probably more proud than I should be of this...)

Mon x
